In the beginning I was willing to settle for the 500 Hornady with this cartridge, and be done. Naturally I finally got around to working with both North Fork and Cutting Edge to have an entire series of new bullets developed for this cartridge. We now have everything from a 300 gr Lever Raptor up to the mighty 450 North Fork Premium, with other Raptors, Solids and Premiums in between. A 335 & 365 gr Lever Raptor is available, 375 and 405 gr Lever Solids from Cutting Edge, and 400 and 450 gr Premium Softs from North Fork. This covers everything a hunter would need to do with a 50 B&M Alaskan, and still having great conventional bullets to work with too.
